Laptops have become a lot more powerful in the last few years, and some can be used as a desktop replacement (… like a mac book pro …). But there are some things that require much more computing power than the basic laptop can provide. Wouldn’t it be great if you could bring along you home or work computers “environment” in a small portable devise that let you just plug in and use the resources of another computer, say at a friends house or clients office?
